Google review link and QR card maker

Paste your Google review link, a g.page/r/ link or your Place ID. The tool checks it, builds the link customers should open, makes a QR code and prints review cards for the van, the counter and your invoices.

Where do I find my link or Place ID?
  1. Review link: on a computer, open your Business Profile at business.google.com, choose Read reviews, then Get more reviews, and copy the link. It usually looks like g.page/r/ and a code, ending in /review.
  2. Place ID: search your shop in Google's Place ID Finder and copy the code it shows. It's a long string of letters and numbers, often starting with ChIJ.
  3. A share link from the Maps app (maps.app.goo.gl) works too, but it opens your profile, not the review box.

Card text

Keep it short. No offers or rewards: Google bans incentives for reviews.

10 cards on a Letter sheet, with cut lines.

Your QR code and card

PNG for texts and social posts. SVG for a printer or sign shop: it stays sharp at any size.

Add this link to LockCommand and each customer gets a review request text from your shop's number a couple of hours after a finished job is paid.

How to use it

A review request only works if the link drops the customer straight into the review box. Plenty of shops print a Maps share link instead, which opens the profile and leaves the customer hunting for the button. This tool tells you which kind of link you have and makes a QR code from the right one.

Getting your link

  1. On a computer, open your Business Profile at business.google.com.
  2. Choose Read reviews, then Get more reviews.
  3. Copy the link. Google's help page says its own review QR code can only be made in a computer browser, not on a phone.

No access to the profile right now? Find your Place ID with Google's Place ID Finder and paste it here. The tool builds a link in the form search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid= followed by your ID.

Printing the cards

Pick business card size for 10 cards on a Letter sheet, or 4 × 6 for one large card to stand on a counter or tape inside the van window. Cut along the dashed lines. In the print dialog, set the scale to 100% ("Actual size") so the cards come out at their real size. Before you print a stack, scan the code on screen with your own phone and check it opens your review box.

The PNG download is for texts and social posts. The SVG download stays sharp at any size, so send that one to a sign shop for van lettering or a door decal.

Keep the card within Google's rules

"Scan to review us" is fine. "Scan for 10% off" or "Leave 5 stars" is not: Google bans rewards for reviews and asking only for positive ones. Hand the card to every customer, not just the happy ones.

Sources and what we couldn't confirm

The writereview?placeid= link has worked for years and review tools use it widely, but we couldn't find a current Google help page that documents it. The link you copy from Business Profile is the safest choice. Last checked October 2026.

Questions

How do I get my Google review link?
On a computer, open your Business Profile, choose Read reviews, then Get more reviews, and copy the link. It usually starts with g.page/r/ and ends with /review.
What is a Place ID?
A code Google uses for one place on the map, usually a long string of letters and numbers that often starts with ChIJ. Find yours with Google's Place ID Finder and this tool turns it into a review link.
Why doesn't my Maps share link open the review box?
A maps.app.goo.gl link opens your profile, and the customer has to find the review button. Use the link from Get more reviews in Business Profile, or your Place ID, for a direct link.
What size should the QR code be?
The business card puts the code at about 1.5 inches, and the 4 × 6 card at about 2.4 inches. Both scan easily from arm's length. Test it with your phone before you print a stack.
Does the tool send my link anywhere?
No. The link is checked and the QR code is made in your browser. Nothing is stored or sent.
