A day on the dispatch board

An illustration, not a customer story. The times are made up; each step is how LockCommand works with Offer mode switched on.
  1. 7:55 a.m.

    The map fills up

Techs go on shift and appear on the dispatcher's live map. Anyone off shift shares no location.
  2. 8:20 a.m.

    Two calls at once

The AI answers both, one in English and one in Spanish. It quotes from your price book and books both jobs. In Offer mode it tells each caller an estimated arrival time from live drive times.
  3. 8:21 a.m.

    Offers go out

The closest qualified tech for each job gets an offer with a one-minute countdown. One accepts. The customer gets a text with the arrival time.
  4. 11:40 a.m.

    A tech passes

The offer moves to the next best tech, then the next. If three techs pass or three minutes go by, the job is flagged and your dispatcher gets a push alert.
  5. 1:15 p.m.

    A scheduled rekey goes out

A job booked for 2 p.m. is offered on its own 45 minutes before the start.
  6. 4:00 p.m.

    The office catches up

Invoices and payments from the day are already in QuickBooks Online. The accountant exports a CSV of payments for the week.
  7. 6:30 p.m.

    The owner checks the numbers

Reports show revenue and tips, jobs done, how many calls the AI booked and what the AI cost, for today, the week or the month.

Five roles, one shop

Every person gets a role. Owners and admins can fine-tune single permissions for one person. Who can see customer data, ID photos and call recordings is on the security and privacy page.

Dispatch shop questions

How many people can use LockCommand in my shop?
Dispatch 3 includes 3 users with any mix of roles, and bigger plans are on the pricing page. You add people with an invite code that expires after 7 days.
Can I limit what a dispatcher or tech sees?
Each role comes with its own screens, and owners and admins can switch single permissions on or off for one person. Techs can see every job with its price so they can pick up open work; they don't see revenue reports or the invoice list. Members of a shop share its records, so invite only people you trust.
How many calls can the AI take at the same time?
Up to 5 per shop. Callers past that ring through to the cell number you choose, and texting shops send them a missed-call text.
Can I make ID checks mandatory for my techs?
Yes. Turn on “Require ID check before completing” in Shop details. No job can be marked complete until the tech has recorded ID and proof of ownership.
Do I have to use AI dispatch?
No. Manual is the default. Suggest pins the best tech and leaves the assignment to a person. Offer and Auto hand more of it to the AI.

Let the AI pick up.
