The program
LockCommand job texts are sent by locksmith businesses ("shops") that use LockCommand, a service of JANZAY LLC. Each shop texts from its own LockCommand phone number, and each message names the shop that sent it. The texts are about the customer's own service job. They aren't marketing.
What the texts are about
- Your technician's name and estimated arrival time when a tech is assigned
- A message when the technician is on the way
- Invoices, with a link to view and pay
- Payment receipts
- One request to review the shop after the job
- A follow-up if the shop missed your call
- Replies from the shop to messages you send
Shops don't use LockCommand job texts for marketing or promotions.
Sample messages
These are real message formats. "Acme Lock" stands in for the shop's name.

License #12345.Acme Lock: your invoice #1042 for $145: (link to view and pay)Acme Lock: payment of $145 received for job #318. Thank you!Thanks for choosing Acme Lock! The first text a shop sends to a new number ends with "Reply STOP to opt out."
How you opt in
You get texts from a shop only after you give that shop your mobile number for a job and agree to texts about it. That happens when you:
- call the shop and give your callback number to book or ask about a job;
- text the shop's number yourself, which asks the shop to text you back;
- give your number to the shop or its technician when you book or receive a service.
Consent to texts is not a condition of purchase. You can book and pay for a job without agreeing to texts, and you can stop them at any time.
How often, and cost
Message frequency varies with your job. Most jobs get between 1 and 6 messages. Msg & data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. LockCommand doesn't charge you for texts.
Stop texts with STOP
- Reply STOP to any message to stop texts from that shop's number. You'll get one message confirming you're unsubscribed, and no more texts after that. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT work too.
- Reply START to sign up again.
- Stopping texts doesn't cancel your job. Call the shop if you want to change or cancel it.
Get help with HELP
Reply HELP for help. You'll get a reply saying the texts come from a locksmith shop that uses LockCommand, how to reach us, and how to opt out. You can also email [email protected].
Carriers
Texts work on most US mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Your mobile number and your consent to texts are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Rules for shops
