Which app this is for
- App: LockCommand, on Google Play, the App Store and the web.
- Developer: JANZAY LLC.
Deletion is instant and can't be undone
When your account or a record is deleted, it's gone right away. There's no waiting period and no way to undo it, and we can't recover it for you afterward. If you want a copy of your jobs, customers or payments, export them to CSV in the app first.
How to delete your account
- Email [email protected] from the email address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my LockCommand account".
- If you own a shop, include the shop name and say whether to delete the whole shop or only your login.
- We check that the request comes from you, then delete your data immediately and email you to confirm it's done.
You don't need the app installed to ask, and there's no charge.
Cancel your subscription too
Deleting your account doesn't stop Google Play or App Store billing. Cancel in your store subscriptions: on Android, open Google Play, tap your profile, then Payments and subscriptions. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
Delete only some data
You don't have to close your account to remove data. Email [email protected] to delete specific records, such as call recordings and transcripts, ID and proof photos, or a customer's details. We delete them as soon as we've checked the request is yours, and that deletion is permanent too. Shops can also delete job photos and recorded payments themselves in the app.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: name, email, phone number, password and sign-in.
- If you delete a whole shop: its jobs, customers, invoices, payment records, calls, call recordings, transcripts, AI notes, texts, photos, ID and proof images, signatures, price book, settings, team members' access and the shop's AI phone number.
- Push notification tokens and technician location data.
- Copies held by the service providers that run LockCommand for us, such as call recordings, are deleted with the rest.
- Links to connected QuickBooks Online, Square, Stripe and PayPal accounts are deleted. For QuickBooks Online and Square, we also cancel our access with the provider.
- Unused AI minutes and wallet credit end with the account.
Stripe and PayPal: we delete the link on our side, but we don't cancel access at Stripe or PayPal for you. To finish, remove LockCommand's access in your Stripe or PayPal dashboard.
What we keep, and for how long
- Records of what the shop paid LockCommand: subscriptions, and wallet and billing history. US tax law makes us keep these. They're set aside, used for nothing else, and deleted when the legal period ends, which is usually up to 7 years.
- A closed shop record that holds only the shop's name, so those billing records still make sense.
- Statistics that don't identify anyone, such as the total number of calls answered in a month.
Nothing else is kept.
Data held elsewhere
Some copies aren't ours to delete:
- Records already sent to your own QuickBooks Online, Stripe, Square or PayPal account stay there, under your control.
- Texts already delivered stay on the customer's phone.
- Google and Apple keep their own records of store purchases, under their own policies.
Team members and customers
- If you're a team member, deleting your login doesn't delete the shop's job records you worked on. They belong to the shop. Ask the shop owner if you want something removed from them.
- If you're a customer of a shop that uses LockCommand, your details belong to that shop. Ask the shop, or email us and we'll work with the shop to handle it.
