Here's how we handle that. A locksmith shop holds IDs, home addresses and call recordings. This page says, in plain words, who can see what and where it goes. The legal detail is in our privacy policy. Inside your shop ## Who sees what. Each role sees the screens its job needs. Behind those screens, members of a shop share its records, so invite only people you trust and remove anyone who leaves. | Data | Who can see it | | --- | --- | | Customer names, phones and addresses | Everyone on your team. Each role needs them to do its job. | | Jobs and their prices | Owners, admins, dispatchers and techs. Techs see every job so they can pick up open work, but can only change their own. | | Call recordings and transcripts | Owners, admins, dispatchers and techs, in the Calls screen. Accountants don't get that screen. | | ID and proof photos, signatures | Members of your shop who open the job. They live in your shop's account, not on a tech's camera roll. | | Revenue reports | Owners and admins. | | Invoice list and CSV exports | Owners, admins and accountants. Dispatchers can view invoices. Techs see the invoice for a job they're working. | | Tech locations | People with the dispatch map (owners, admins, dispatchers), and only while the tech is on shift or on a job. | | Plan and payment accounts | The owner. QuickBooks can also be managed by admins and accountants. | Owners and admins can switch single permissions on or off for one person. Outside your shop, access is limited to the providers that run the service and to LockCommand staff when they need it for support, billing or security. How it's handled ## Eight things worth knowing. ### Calls and recordings Calls to your AI number are recorded and transcribed for your shop. By default, callers hear a short recording notice in their language. You can turn it off, and then telling callers is up to you. ### AI that doesn't keep your data AI call notes and text drafts go only to AI providers that don't keep or train on the content. We don't train our own models on your information. Nothing the AI drafts is sent to a customer until a person sends it. ### Payments never pass through us Customers pay your own Stripe, Square or PayPal account, or your own pay links. We never hold your money or see full card numbers. ### Encrypted, and locked to your shop Data is encrypted in transit. Access keys for the accounts you connect are encrypted at rest. Only members of your shop can see your shop's data. ### Location only on shift Techs share location only while on shift or on a job. Going off shift removes the shared location and withdraws open job offers. ### ID checks you can require Solo and dispatch shops can require ID and proof of ownership before a job is completed. The photos stay in your shop's account. ### Your customers stay yours Your customers' details belong to your shop. We handle them for you and use them for nothing else. ### Deletion is instant Delete your account, a whole shop, or only some records. It happens right away, it's permanent, and we keep only what the law requires. What we don't do ## The short list. - We don't sell personal information or share it for advertising. - We don't use your customers' details for our own marketing, and shop texts are never used for marketing. - This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. - We don't read your QuickBooks money data. The sync only sends records to QuickBooks and reads what it needs to avoid duplicates. - Found a security problem? No. We don't sell personal information, we don't share it for advertising, and we don't use your customers' details for our own marketing. Your customers are your customers. We handle their data for you. ### Does LockCommand store card numbers? No. Card payments are handled by your own Stripe, Square or PayPal account. We never receive full card numbers, and the money never passes through us. ### Are calls recorded? Do callers know? Yes, calls to your AI number are recorded and transcribed so you can check what was said. By default every AI call starts with a short recording notice in the caller's language. You can turn it off in the app, but then telling callers is up to you where your state requires it. ### Do AI companies train on my calls and texts? AI call notes and text reply drafts go only to AI providers that don't keep the content or train on it. We don't train our own AI models on your shop's or your customers' information. ### Which companies help run LockCommand? We use a small number of providers for hosting, phone and texts, voice AI, maps and email. Each gets only what it needs for its job. Our privacy policy lists them by type and what each one receives. ### How do I delete my data? Email us from the address you sign in with. Once we've checked it's you, we delete your account or the records you name right away. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone, so export anything you need first.
